Jess has worked for renowned US, UK and Australian law firms and in-house legal departments of prestigious MNCs throughout her legal career. She is especially interested in corporate and commercial law and has been acting for international and local clients in complicated corporate and commercial transactions.

Jess has a UK and Australian law background with practical knowledge in Hong Kong and PRC laws. She lived and worked in Hong Kong before settling down in Sydney.  She is keen to bring quality legal services to global and local clients from Sajen’s Sydney office.

With sound commercial acumen, Jess looks after clients from a broad range of industry sectors including manufacturing, FMCGs, capital market, property development, cybersecurity, pharmaceuticals, supply chain and food and beverages. She also advises clients on M&As and foreign investments on a regular basis.

Jess wants to be part of her clients’ business and be right there for them to provide valuable professional advice.  She focuses on achieving win-win results in a most cost-effective way while allowing business creativity within the legal boundaries.

When she is not buried in paperwork, Jess likes to explore new places, acquire new skills and meet new people.  Her fluency in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Hokkien has brought her closer to clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Apart from corporate and commercial law, Jess also practises in the areas of employment, intellectual property, property, financial services, wills & estate and migration law.
