Tell us a bit about East Coast Freight Distribution…
ECFD is a family business with an impressive 23 year history of reliability, punctuality, safety, and outstanding service, which has earned us a loyal and long term customer base and excellent reputation in the region.
We have developed great relationships with our customers and we have an incredible team who work to a very high standard of excellence. We view our customers and team as part of the family and we all love what we do.
When and how did your business get started?
In 1992 we expanded our Brisbane business by purchasing and developing the ECFD brand, and over the years we have grown it into a respected brand in transport and freight distribution. We now have second and third generations involved and continue to go from strength to strength.
What are your business goals?
We have expanded what we offer our customers to complement our General Freight and Permanent Hire services. We now offer and continue to build Event Hire, Mobile Forklift Hire, Hot Shots and Project Logistics. We also now offer advertising space on the truck curtains, which is proving to be a very popular way of getting seen in more places. Into the future we will continue to build these specialty areas, while strengthening our general freight and distribution.

Everywhere. I love exploring new places and getting to know the people who live there.

Thai Frenzy in Buderim.

Salvador Dali is a favourite artist, and I have a lovely painting by Otto Aguilar.
